Brad Stulberg
Brad Stulberg is an elite amateur multisport athlete, and at the ripe young age of just 25-years-old, well on his way to accomplishing his overarching goal of gaining professional status. After just 1.5 years of competing in multisport — with an early focus on duathlon — in his first full season of racing [in 2011] Brad produced some great results, earning respect on both the local and national racing scene:
2011
- First Place Overall at the Tawas Half Iron Duathlon (2011)
- Division wins at numerous regional races, including Powerman Muncie
- All American Honorable Mention
- Represented Team USA at the Duathlon World Champions and was the first American finisher in his division
In the early part of 2012, Brad has continued to show great promise, with division wins and top-five overall finishes at both the Cary Long Course Duathlon and the Greenswell Long Course Duathlon. Looking ahead to the remainder of the season, Brad is shifting focus toward Triathlons, with Ironman Syracuse 70.3 and Ironman Racine 70.3 as his priority races. The second half of his season is TBD, but we wouldn’t bet against seeing him at the 70.3 World Championships in September.
Brad may be somewhat unique to our team in that when he’s not training, he is a leader in the field of public health. He has spent the last two years at the University of Michigan’s top ranked School of Public Health, and has just accepted a position in healthcare strategy with Kaiser Permanente, a large health system based out of Northern California. In his own words, Brad is an ardent believer in the power of Xendurance products, and really represents the power of our products for those that are not [yet] at the professional level:
“I am so thankful to have the support of Xendurance. I have no doubt in my mind that their products have played an integral part in my performance gains. Extreme Endurance enables me to recover fast from high-quality efforts, which while clearly sought by everyone, is especially crucial for amateurs like me that have limited time to train and must ensure every session has a distinct purpose and can be as valuable as possible. It’s no surprise that I made my biggest leaps in fitness about three months after I started using Xendurance products consistently, and I don’t plan on looking back!! While the direct benefits are incredible, the overarching benefit of enabling consistent training may be the most powerful effect of the Xendurance product line.
In addition to their incredible pre/post training supplements, the people behind the product are equally as amazing. The company has a family feel, and everyone at Xendurance truly lives for developing products that help athletes of all levels accomplish their goals. I feel honored to be a part of this family.”
We are excited to follow Brad, and you can stay abreast of his development by following his blog at http://greaterthanendurance.blogspot.com/2012/04/racing-and-suffering.html
