Leon Griffin
Leon Griffin, otherwise known as Griffo, is a world class Triathlete from the sleepy city of Bendigo, Australia. In his earlier school years he cut his athletic teeth on the pitch as an Aussie Rules footballer. Since taking to endurance sports, he has claimed victories in all corners of the globe, the highlight being crowned a World Champion in 2006 when taking out the ITU World Duathlon Championship in Corner Brook, Canada. He has also won a swag of State and National long distance triathlon titles in his homeland of Australia.
Leon’s fierce determination for victory is evident every time he toes the start line. It is this approach which separates him from the crowd, providing an aggressive yet exciting racing style that leaves onlookers with no doubt he’s given every ounce of energy he’s got in the tank. He is a fantastically talented & tough competitor and one we’re proud to have in our corner.
Leon plans to split time in 2012 between Australia and North America, where he will be based out of Boulder, Colo.
