Mark Miller

Mark Miller was one of the very first pro-athletes to test Extreme Endurance.
You may wonder why an off-road racer would be interested in a product that claims to reduce lactic acid by 15% and improve aerobic threshold by double digits. Well try holding on to a steering wheel for 2,828 miles in 14 racing stages on a journey from Chile’s Pacific Coast and back to Buenos Aires on the Atlantic. This is the Dakar Race and Miller holds the distinction of being the highest finishing American in the brutal Dakar, second in 2009.
The Dakar is the largest motorsport event in the world. The drivers spend eight hours a day in a car and every day takes its toll and this is why Mark tried Extreme Endurance. He is now “hooked” on the product’s ability to address many of his sports extreme needs.
Mark said, “Dakar is like doing a Baja 500 everyday for 14 or 15 days straight. It truly is one of the world’s most physically demanding endurance races.” He said its hard to describe what its like going 120 mph, off-road, shifting thousands of times, the thrashing and vibration your head, neck, leg, abs and arms endure really require a very high level of fitness. “Since taking Extreme Endurance I have increased my level of fitness. I can train harder with less muscle burn, keep my heart rate in the red zone longer and I am no longer sore after workouts. I can race day after day with less muscle soreness and pain. Being able to train and compete with less muscle pain and soreness is what every athlete would like to be able to do and Extreme Endurance allows me to do that. It’s part of my daily nutrition intake”.
There were 132 starters in the car class and 57 finished in last year’s Dakar. We wish Mark the best of luck in this year’s Dakar Rally across South America!
Mark has also written a book about his life’s journey in racing. You can’t put the book down!
I wanted to be a professional off-road racer since 1982 but I made a critical decision that year to go to college and then became a stockbroker. I thought that was the right decision for a long time. It wasn’t that long ago that I worked as a money manager. I spent my twenties and most of my thirties building hedge funds at a time when few people had heard of the term. I was very successful, but wondered what I might have been had I not given up my dreams.
Each January, I compete in The Dakar Rally, the world’s largest motorsports event. As a factory driver for Volkswagen Motorsport since 2005, I pilot a VW Race Touareg through some of the world’s most rugged terrain over a grueling 3-week rally. Land mines, crashes, and getting lost in the desert are just a few of the challenges the race presents. I have written a book that relays the journey to the life that got me to the highest job possible in Cross Country Rally Racing as a Factory Driver for Volkswagen Motorsport in the Dakar Rally.
It is meant to provoke thought and relate insights of my own which have been gained through the years as a Professional Investor, Professional Athlete and Father
