The Xendurance LD team consists of eight female triathletes who belong to the Dutch top on the long distance tri- and duathlon. The team competes in the “Eredivisie”, which is the Dutch Premier League of teamtriathlon, with the aim of a top-3 in the overall circuit.

The Eredivisie was organized in 2012 for the first time, and copies the success of the German Bundesliga and the French Grand Prix circuits of short course racing in Europe. The second edition now in 2013 attracts a lot of media attention, with several sponsored teams being created and even the first foreign athletes entering the competitions.
The athletes of the Xendurance LD team are participating as a team in the 5 races on the circuit: 2 Sprint triathlons, 1 Olympic Distance race, 1 team-relay race and 1 team-timetrial race. Next to those races, they will participate individually in internaltional long distance racing. Aim of the team is to step up to the next level in 2014 and fully integrate all short and long distance races under the umbrella of the further professionalized team.
