Laura Roesler Sets New 800m PR at 2016 Millrose Games

Hoping to be one of the top three American 800-meter runners to qualify for the Summer Olympics to be held in August in Brazil, Laura Roesler (an 800 meter specialist & two-time NCAA champion) set a new indoor 800m personal record with 2:00.49 during the 2016 Millrose Games held on February 20 2016 at Manhattan's Washington Heights at the New Balance Track & Field Center at the Armory, The NYRR (New York Road Runners) Millrose Games is the world longest-running and most prestigious indoor track and field champion. For the athletes, Millrose offers a chance to face top-tier competition and to run fast, which is important with the World Indoor Championships qualifying period closing on March 7.
