Zach Bitter Breaks His Own American Record - 100-Mile Run in 11:40:55

On December 29, 2015, Zach Bitter returned to the Desert Solstice Invitational Track Meet in Phoenix, AZ to break his own 100-mile American Open Track Record in 11:40:55. For those tabulators at home, that's a 7-minute mile… for 100 straight miles! "I went to hoping to take a shot at the 100 mile world record. I felt like I put myself in good position, but fell short from a muscle strength standpoint the last 15 miles... I certainly can't complain about a PR or American Record for the effort and am extremely grateful for my crew-chief Rich McKnight, Jamie Courty and Arivaipa staff and volunteer soft putting on a top notch event." - Zach

Considered the fastest American in the history of long distance ultra running, Bitter (29 years) did what no other American athlete has been able to accomplish to date in his breaking his own record set in 2013 on the Central High School track, by almost 7 minutes, proving he is still America's best ultra runner in time, loop and track events. Ultrarunning - a running discipline that accounts fro any distance longer than a standard marathon - is growing rapidly, both in the U.S. and worldwide.

How does Zach Bitter train to break his own American 100-Mile run Record?

"With training weeks reaching 20+ hours, a full time job, and long efforts on race day, I need a healthy diet with the right supplementation to ensure proper recovery and progress. Extreme Endurance is one of the critical pieces to my recovery and workout regimen. Some of my favorites include: Extreme Endurance, Immune Boost, Extreme Omega, and Extreme Joint."

"I won't train without these products"
