    If you exercise or exert your body in anyway - you require energy. Approximately 1/3 of your total carbohydrate energy is from lactate, the rest is from blood glucose and muscle glycogen. Lactate is the body’s preferred fuel over glucose. Your body will use lactate first. The more lactate you use during exercise, the less muscle glycogen you have to use, which means your glycogen stores will last longer and this equates to more energy.

    There are four carbohydrate fuel sources & lactate. Carbohydrate foods are identified as having a significant impact on fuel for your muscles during exercise. If the body doesn’t have enough carbohydrates, protein is broken down to make glucose for energy. Lactate is added to Fuel-5 for fuel as well.

    DEXTROSE is a simple sugar chemically identical to glucose and is made from corn. Because dextrose is a simple sugar, the body can quickly use it for energy. 

    MALTODEXTRIN is an easily digestible carbohydrate made from rice, corn or potato starch. Maltodextrin is a complex carbohydrate perfect for extended energy usage.

    SUCROSE is table sugar and made from sugar cane or sugar beets. Sucrose is a simple carbohydrates that occurs naturally in every fruit and vegetable. Because sucrose is a simple carbohydrate, the body can quickly use it for energy.

    Pre-Workout: We recommend 2 scoops + 8 oz of water
