What’s the most effective method for using Energy Gels during exercise?

Energy Gels aren’t exclusive to runners—they’re formulated for peak performance in all long-distance sports. With their smooth texture and subtle flavor, they’re easy to consume and quickly absorbed by the body.

Why is Lactate added to the Xendurance Energy Gels?

When you exercise or exert your body in any way - you require energy.

Approximately 1/3 of your total carbohydrate energy is from lactate, the rest is from blood glucose and muscle glycogen.

Lactate is the body’s preferred fuel over glucose. Your body will use lactate first. The more lactate you use during exercise, the less muscle glycogen you have to use, which means your glycogen stores will last longer and this equates to more energy.

Tasty and effective!

I’ve tried lots of different gels and carb mixes and I really prefer one that is not very thick and not very sweet. That is EXACTLY what these Xendurance gels are. They are a thinner liquid than any other gel I’ve tried and they have just a subtle taste so you don’t get sick of them. These have now fueled a couple multi-hour trail runs for me, and I’m pumped to have found them!

BEST GEL out there for a long run

My husband and I love these gels on our weekly long runs. We can literally feel the energy boost from these gels and they keep us going on our 4-6 hour long runs. We’ve tried almost every brand of gel and love Xendurance’s consistency the best-not gooey or thick and Does t cause anny stomach issues. The taste is great considering it’s a gel-both flavors are fine. We take one gel every 30 minutes.

Energy Boost

These Energy Gels have changed the way my training runs are done. I use them when I do Tempo runs or Intervals. I have used them on long rugs but they are tough to open while running. Overall, I love the Berry flavor and they go down easy.

How does it give u energy with no caffeine? Just curious before i go for it.🤘

Our gels have lactate in them as well as carbohydrates. Please take a look at all of George Brooks clinical studies on lactate and you will see that it is an energy source. You will use lactate before your own gylcogen stores therefore your energy will increase.

Lighter Gels

These gels are lighter (not as thick) as some of the gels I have tried. They go down smooth without much water. Good size portion in each pack. I am currently using the Citrus. Going to try the Beery next.

I use these for long runs along with Xendurance Hydro Stix. The gels go down easily. I like to consume 1/2 a gel every 3 miles. This I my new go to gel for races and training runs. I like both flavors available (citrus and berry).
